Arena Union Elementary School is part of a unique community situated in a stunning coastal region of redwoods, emerald green pastures, and some of the most beautiful ocean panoramas on earth.

Our tiny school of just over 200 students, prides itself on a caring, supportive staff that nurtures our diverse population of students from every ethnic and socioeconomic background. We have a preschool, kindergarten through 8th grade, and an after school program to serve our students in a safe, respectful, and responsible atmosphere. Because of our size, we are able to provide our the support small classrooms afford.

Arena Union Elementary School is the recipients of a Reading First Grant which has been instrumental in enabling us to drastically improve our standardized test scores in English Language Arts. We provide EXCEL intervention classes in reading and writing, as well as mathematics to continue our pursuit of excellence in academics. In addition, our faculty and staff are encouraged to pursue professional development opportunities to maintain their dedication and resolve to provide quality education.

As part of a district-wide Blended Service Model Program, any services provided on campus are available school wide to all students. Strong collaborative efforts are sustained so that no student is allowed to fail before they receive the instructional guidance and support they need.
